SKF Mobile Apps for Apple and Android
SKF has assembled a broad range of mobile apps, which are now available via the Apple app store and the Android market. These engineering apps will be appreciated by design engineers, specifiers, maintenance personnel and students.
The apps provide a wealth of useful information and also enable users to benefit from SKF's extensive knowledge of bearings and seals to make critical calculations.
At the time of writing, the list of mobile apps includes the following:
- Bike seals - for finding replacement SKF seal replacements for bike forks
- SKF Bearing Calculator - for identifying and performing calculations relating to SKF bearings
- SKF Seals - for finding machined and injection moulded seals, plus engineered plastic parts
- SKF DialSet - for calculating bearing relubrication intervals and quantities
- SKF Evolution - the iPad version of SKF's technology and business magazine
- SKF Web Customer Link - enables customers to check availability and view previous orders
- SKF Seal Select - for selecting seals and accessories
- SKF PTP Catalogue - for information about power transmission products
- Explore the New SE - explains the features and benefits of SKF's new SE bearing housing (in 3D!)
Other apps are listed for specialist markets such as the solar and rail industries, and there are others intended for SKF's employees and distributors.
