SMC to continue exhibition success at Advanced Engineering 2015
Hot on the heels of their successful appearance at the PPMA exhibition recently, Japanese-owned SMC Pneumatics confirm they will appear at Advanced Engineering 2015, on stand L63 in hall 5 of the NEC, from 4-5 November.
The manufacturer's UK subsidiary met a record number of visitors to their stand at the PPMA show, which ran from 29 September to 1 October. The centrepiece of their stand - the largest in the event - was a modular display highlighting the practices and products that users can incorporate into their operations to improve efficiencies as part of total productive maintenance.
Advanced Engineering 2015 allows specifiers, designers and buyers to see the technologies available from more than 750 supply chain engineering exhibitors across a wide range of high-performance engineering sectors.
SMC has a global reputation for innovation, and stand L63 at Advanced Engineering will showcase problem-solving clamp cylinders with proven benefits in automotive industry applications, static control and elimination products and the company's expanding range of electric drives.
Marketing Manager Bob Hitner explains that exhibitions will continue to form an important part of SMC's presence in the marketplace: "We'll always take the view that our UK salesforce provide the best way of providing face to face support that our customers know us for. But exhibitions allow us to engage with a large audience in a short space of time and meet users that, for whatever reason, we don't currently have a relationship with.
"It's often the case that exhibition visitors come to see us thinking we only supply pneumatics, then discover we provide so much more."
