SolutionsPT targets growth with key appointments

Cevn Vibert has joined the business as Industrial Cyber Security Evangelist and will be focused on establishing SolutionsPT as a leader provider within the burgeoning cyber security market.

With more than 25 years' experience in the industry, Cevn has held senior roles at Thales Group, Rockwell and Silchester Control Systems. Whilst at Thales, Cevn was the creator of a Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) facility and TRUST security Explorer centre at Thales' Basingstoke site, part of a multimillion pound facility with fully isolated and screened computing laboratories, designed to allow improved cyber security and testing for critical national infrastructure, governments and companies.

Cevn will use his experience of working with blue-chip companies such as Thames Water, Network Rail and EDF, and his unrivalled knowledge of SCADA, resilient architectures, control systems and industrial networks to support SolutionsPT's clients in securing their manufacturing facilities against internal and external threats.

Cevn will be sharing his expertise at the Deep-Secure Breakfast Briefing on 7th April 2016 at the Department for Business, Innovation & Skills, Victoria Street, London. Guests will include senior representatives from across the UK Utilities sector and Cevn will present his thoughts on promoting a Holistic Integrated Industrial Cyber Security strategy with a focus on the convergence of the OT and IT worlds.

Kolos Konya, who was previously working at SolutionsPT within a Systems Architect role, has been promoted to the position of Business Development Manager for the South East. He will be responsible for building relationships with new clients and expanding the scope of existing partnerships. His previous "hands-on' role, in which he worked closely with clients to develop server infrastructures, virtualised IT environments, thin client architectures and industrial networking, ensures he has the product knowledge to offer industrial clients genuine consultancy.
