Sommer-automatic was at the 2009 Machine Building & Automation exhibition to promote its products for automation and robotics, as well as to introduce Sommer-automatic UK Ltd to the market. Previously Sommer's products were sold in the UK through Automation Systems but now Sommer-automatic has established a UK subsidiary to serve existing customers and expands its market share in the UK. Ian Sinclair, who was previously with Automation Systems as sales manager for the Sommer range, is running Sommer-automatic UK Ltd and will remain the contact point for UK customers.
