Southern Manufacturing and Electronics, 5-7 February 2019

Southern Manufacturing and Electronics is taking place at Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre from 5-7 February 2019. The first major event in the UK exhibition calendar, Southern Manufacturing and Electronics, together with AutoAero, gives exhibitors the earliest opportunity to present products and services to thousands of key industry buyers and specifiers keen to address multiple sourcing issues in a time-efficient visit to Farnborough. Furthermore, the brand new 35m, 20,000m2, state-of-the art venue offers superb modern facilities, easy access and free onsite parking, all of which makes the Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre popular with exhibitors and visitors alike.

Southern Manufacturing and Electronics, 5-7 February 2019

Southern Manufacturing and Electronics attracts many leading manufacturers, but it is also extremely accessible for the diverse eco-system of engineering SMEs operating across the UK (not just the South of England) and, increasingly, continental Europe too. As well as giving the show its unique character, it also makes it one of the most effective events for visitors to address multiple sourcing issues in a very time-efficient way.

Around 800 companies took part in Southern Manufacturing 2018 and the organisers, European Trade & Exhibition Services (ETES), are optimistic that this figure will be exceeded for 2019. While the majority of stands have already been booked, there are still some left for companies that want to join this exciting event.

The exhibition hall is divided into zones as follows:

  • Electronic components and subcontracting
  • Test, measurement and inspection
  • Production machinery and tooling
  • Materials and components
  • Aerospace
  • Packaging, logistics and handling
  • Automation and robotics
  • Subcontracting and engineering
  • Electronic production
  • CEM/EMS
  • PCB design and manufacture

As in previous years there will be a free-to-attend seminar programme, which will run in two separate theatres over all three days of the show. The comprehensive programme of sessions will include a broad range of technical topics and management topics. These seminars provide an excellent opportunity for exhibitors to position themselves as thought leaders in their particular field.
