Southern Manufacturing moves to purpose-built exhibition centre

The Southern Manufacturing Show moved to the Farnborough site in 2008 and, over the last decade, has grown to become the largest annual engineering exhibition in the UK and one of the most important international showcases for British manufacturing expertise. The 2017 show attracted around 800 exhibitors and nearly 9000 visitors from all over the world. With approximately 22 per cent of the UK's 3400 aerospace businesses and significant numbers of automotive, medical technology, marine and high-tech engineering located within a 50-mile radius of Farnborough, the show is situated at the centre of one of the UK's most important manufacturing regions.

The new 20,000m2 purpose-built exhibition centre at Farnborough is the largest exhibition venue to be built in the UK for two decades. Designed by award-winning architects Terence O'Rourke, Hall 1 at Farnborough offers world-class facilities, easy access and panoramic runway-level views.
