GB Media & Events, which organises the Industry 4.0 Summit & Expo, has announced the first speakers for the 2020 summit. The event takes place on 31 March and 1 April 2020 in Manchester, UK.
Dr Klaus Dohrman is Vice President of Development Engineering, Manufacturing & Energy Sector for DHL Customer Solutions & Innovation (CSI), based in Troisdorf, Germany. He is responsible for setting the global sector strategy, identifying new business opportunities, supporting product development and executing selected strategic initiatives. He will be speaking about customer-centric supply chains.
Paul Baker is Vice President for Industry 4.0 Applications and Analytics at Stanley Black & Decker. He leads SBD's global strategy and efforts in leveraging Industry 4.0 applications and advanced analytics to drive operational performance improvements through the digital transformation of manufacturing. He will be talking about how SBD is investing $100m globally in Industry 4.0 technologies across 80 per cent of its factories.
In addition to the summit speakers, GB Media & Events is also confirming that Bosch Rexroth will be the headline sponsor for the event - and this is the fourth consecutive year in which the company has sponsored the Industry 4.0 Summit & Expo.
