Spelsberg expands current TK enclosure range

Spelsberg is expanding its popular range of TK electrical enclosures with the introduction of a number of new designs. The range, which offers polystyrene and robust polycarbonate designs with IP66 protection, is a favourite among electrical installers and OEMs. The new enclosures, carrying the 1813 moniker, closes a gap in the list of dimensions offered; providing greater flexibility to end-users searching for the combination of installation space and compact footprint.

The TK enclosure range includes hundreds of sizes and options which have been developed over time to meet the needs of industry professionals. They are manufactured from polystyrene and high-strength polycarbonate; providing a rugged, non-corrosive housing for sensitive electronics. For added flexibility all standard products are available with a host of accessories including DIN rails and mounting plates (steel and insulated).

Where the standard range does not meet the demands of an application, Spelsberg UK is able to customise enclosures in-house to suit almost any need. It offers CNC machining for bespoke entry point configuration and laser marking for company logos, certification or instructions. Spelsberg is even able to offer in-house assembly, assisting with the production process and reducing installation times once delivered.

These new products are available in a variety of configurations which add a total of 48 new standard enclosures to the range. End users can choose between two base depths and three cover heights - transparent covers are also available if required. A selection of metric knockout cable entry points have been included in the standard range based on the most popular requests from customers.
