The latest accelerometer installation kits feature a new design of spot facing tool, with a wear-resistant tungsten tip that extends operating life still further, while enhancing the precision with which each sensor can be fitted. The kit includes everything needed to prepare the surface of the equipment to be monitored, drill and tap the appropriate mounting hole, and install the sensor to ensure that readings are accurate, consistent and repeatable.
