One of the recurring themes is the recent addition of metric springs to the company's catalogue of standard springs. Because Lee Spring was founded in the USA, the catalogue has historically focused on springs with imperial dimensions. However, over the last two years Lee Spring has greatly expanded its range of metric springs to make life easier for machine builders and product designers working predominantly with metric dimensions.

About Lee Spring

Lee Spring has a standard range of over 19,000 compression, die, extension, torsion and wave springs, as well as plastic springs, disc springs, battery springs and spring kits. All of these are available off the shelf for same-day despatch. The company also offers a world-class custom spring design and manufacturing service.

Stock springs are manufactured from materials to military, aerospace and/or equivalent British and DIN Standards, with design and manufacturing tolerances in accordance with British and International standards. Standard music wire and oil-tempered MB (medium basic carbon steel) springs are zinc plated, passivated, and fully de-embrittled, while the stainless steel springs are passivated to enhance their corrosion resistance. Custom springs can be manufactured in a wide variety of regular materials and exotic alloys.

Lee Spring caters for all requirements, including small batches for repairs and prototyping, though to larger production quantities ("from 10 springs to 10 million springs"). Free Standard Delivery is available to most locations, or Special Delivery can be arranged at extra cost.
