Hutchinson joins Deritend from a global engineering and manufacturing group based in Scotland.

Customer focus

Hutchinson comments: "I am pleased to be joining a company that is so obviously moving forward; the expertise on offer from the group in supplying both on- and an off-site mechanical and electrical engineering service is world-class, with a high focus on customer care. I hope to enable the Deritend Industries organisation to increase the level of services we supply to certain key customers in strategic market sectors as well as developing the huge potential in new business areas via our national sales team and cross-selling the group capabilities in our blue-chip national accounts and European network."

Following on from the acquisition of RMB Engineering in 2007 and M&E services contractor H&K in 2008, Deritend Industries is pursuing an ambitious acquisition programme designed to maintain its position as a leader in plant maintenance, repairs and facilities management to an ever-increasing customer base seeking increased efficiency and cost reduction, giving total asset management.
