It was success at the double for Bosch Rexroth at the prestigious Motion Control Industry Awards 2017. The company scooped two major awards at the gala dinner held at the National Conference Centre at Hampton-in-Arden, near Solihull.
Bosch Rexroth was recognised as delivering the "Project of the Year' for its design of a novel offshore wind turbine foundation piling template which significantly reduced commissioning time and cost. It also secured the Skills & Training category for the "Bosch Rexroth Challenge', an initiative which gives students from the Staffordshire-based JCB Academy practical experience of hydraulic system applications, including a private tour of the London Eye.
Sean Kilgallen of Bosch Rexroth comments: "Receiving these awards - judged by our peers from within the motion control sector - reaffirms our commitment to excellence in the areas of service, innovation and also helping to bring through the engineers and business leaders of the future.
"It was highly refreshing to see such a well-attended event supported by so many of the sector's major players, celebrating the very best people and technologies in the field of motion control."
