Super size warehouse increases electric motor stock availability

US major Regal Beloit purchased the renowned Rotor brand in September 2010, and has combined this with its cost-effective and efficient Marathon Electric brand to provide customers across the UK with both depth and breadth of product choice. And with the announcement of the group's new warehousing facility - thought to be the largest of its kind in the world - product availability will also be enhanced.

Mario Pistone, Vice President for Regal Beloit Corporation, Europe, explains: "Regal Beloit bv, previously known as Dutchi nl, has relocated to Eibergen in the Netherlands to share premises with its sister company, Rotor nl. This strategic move will result in Europe's largest modification workshop, which will allow our customers to access special execution and non-standard electric motors very quickly. More importantly for the UK market though, the new facility will act as a stocking and modification hub, allowing our customers faster access to products and even more ready availability."

The company believes the new facility to be the largest electric motor stock of its kind in the world, and it will supply single-phase, three-phase and MV machines in a range of frame sizes, plus higher-protection IP23 drip-proof motors up to 600KW, usually something customers could expect weeks or even moths for from other suppliers.
