TE Connectivity exhibit smart connectivity at SPS IPC Drives
TE Connectivity will be a key exhibitor at SPS IPC Drives 2014, which will be held from 25-27 November in Nuremberg, Germany. In Hall 10 at booth 210, TE will highlight the customer benefits of its range of products and systems for both factory automation and machine building applications. The company offers an extensive portfolio of electromechanical and electronic products that cover virtually all requirements. ARISO contactless connectivity platform
A special feature of TE's booth is the presentation of its innovative ARISO Contactless Connectivity Platform. The smart connectivity platform addresses the need for reliable connections in situations and environments where traditional connectivity reaches its limits due to space restrictions, vibrations, dust and dirt, while at the same time offering 360 degrees of flexibility.
Industrial mini I/O connectors
TE's Industrial Mini I/O product is only one-quarter the size of the conventional RJ45 plug, and as a result provides space saving and the flexibility to use limited space on the PCB more effectively. Designed with two points of contact, this connector is built for the stringent demands of an industrial and high-vibration environment, enabling increased productivity through a reliable connection.
Ruggedised industrial RJ45 connectors for industrial use
TE is offering a new range of easy-to-install industry standard connectors equipped with robust termination technology that allows time saving and flexible field installation. The range includes an Industrial RJ45 Push Pull Variant 14 connector with a plastic shell, and an Industrial RJ45/Fibre Optic Push Pull Variant 14 with a metal shell. Both types are designed to be durable for a high degree of reliability over a long lifetime, resulting in long-term cost savings. Both variants offer high-grade IP shielding and temperature resistance, making them suitable for harsh and outdoor environments.
M8/M12 connector system
TE's easy-to-install M8/M12 industry standard connector system for machine industrial automation and control applications offers design engineers a reliable option for various applications to decrease downtime in industrial environments, providing users with an interface that supports higher bandwidth needs - meeting the requirements of up to 10Gb/s. The new system includes an extensive range of board- and field-installable connectors, cable assemblies and I/O boxes. Designed to IEC-61076-2-101 standard, they are robust for use in harsh commercial applications such as outdoor data communications, outdoor telecoms and advanced traffic monitoring.
Cat6a connectors
TE offers a new Cat6a connector with excellent signal performance for field termination without tools. This new range of high-speed industrial RJ45 Cat6a field-installable connectors is able to support 10Gb/s Gigabit Ethernet, and the connector structure and IDC contacts allow for reliable, tool-less installation.
