Temperature and humidity chambers use less energy

Unitemp is introducing a new range of economic, power-saving, walk-in type temperature and humidity chambers. This quality range, designated the H series, is manufactured by the ESPEC corporation. It consists of six models that can be integrated with eight test chambers. They have been developed primarily for the reliability testing of electronic/electrical components and equipment as well as automotive parts and selected processes.

Temperature and humidity chambers use less energy

These innovative chambers save energy by using an electronic expansion valve for adjusting refrigerant flow, together with a newly developed control system. A maximum power saving of 68 per cent is achieved in temperature operation and 47 per cent in temperature/humidity operation. The temperature variance across the range is -40 to 80degC, with a humidity range of 10-95 per cent RH.

The controls are on the the left-hand side and are on an easy to operate LCD display, which features an interactive touchscreen. A viewing window is incorporated in the door.

Constructed inside and out from high-quality stainless steel, the chambers have inside dimensions of between 1020mm wide x 2100mm high x 1970mm deep and 6170mm x 2100mm x 4070mm.

This range complements Unitemp's extensive range of test and monitoring chambers/ovens, and the company has the expertise to provide specials to customer requirements.

These versatile chambers have applications in the electronic/electrical, laboratory, process and manufacturing industries.
