PI UK has opened invitations to its final event of 2024, focusing on the future of industrial networks. The event will be held at Statham Lodge Hotel, Lymm, on 14 November, from 9:30 to 3:30.

The future of industrial networks

The event will address the key practical issues arising from the use of digital communications technologies in automated manufacturing and process industry applications, with particular attention being paid to new developments in PROFINET, Advanced Physical Layer (APL) and Single Pair Ethernet (SPE), Module Type Package (MTP) and NAMUR Open Architecture (NOA), IO-Link and Cyber Security.

It focuses on the practical aspects of using PROFINET, PROFIBUS, IO-Link and MTP/NOA, from system design, safety and security considerations through to fault-finding and maintenance.
