Complete Machine Assembly

HEIGHTS has extensive in-house assembly capabilities, drawing on its considerable experience of manufacturing its own branded products for over 30 years. As a result, the company can assemble fully built equipment ready for immediate deployment on the shop floor. Again, using its extensive experience as an OEM and machine builder with a network of carefully selected and trusted suppliers, HEIGHTS says it can specify and purchase any necessary materials and components for a machine design and build, this relieving customers of potentially time consuming tasks .

Allowing HEIGHTS to  assemble equipment means that OEMs can cut operational costs, reduce inventory and simplify assembly, purchasing and scheduling.  HEIGHTS can manufacture from a customer’s original design, or can take the project into detail design and manufacture itself to deliver a finished product that exactly matches a brief. Interestingly for many OEMs, HEIGHTS can also refurbish or carry out modifications to existing equipment, again working either to customer drawings and specifications or undertaking its own design and sourcing for the build/refurbishment.

Comprehensive, complete machine and sub assembly builds

Complementing its own manufacturing operations, HEIGHTS also provides a complete assembly service, offering the facility to build up just about anything from smaller sub-assemblies up to complete, ready-to-ship machine assemblies.  Further, and perhaps of equal importance to OEMs keen to control both costs and timescales as well as quality, the company also provides many other services that go hand-in-hand with this machine and equipment building facility. These include in-house product design (using the latest CAD and solids modelling programmes) to manufacturing special purpose workholding, and the documentation of all processes and quality procedures.

HEIGHTS also provides exemplary spare part support as well as bespoke packing and worldwide shipping.  The company has an extensive and successful history of working with leading blue chip companies in almost every market sector served. For example, in the reprographics machinery market, global leader including AGFA, DuPont, Fujifilm and Kodak are amongst key and long-standing HEIGHTS customers.

Sub Assemblies

HEIGHTS can supply fully tested sub assemblies, allowing customers to focus on their core business activities. This frees up resources, says the company, whilst maximising quality and minimising time and money. The company can either manufacture or procure all of the necessary components for assembly, again minimising the expense to a customer of handling the supply logistics themselves.

Quality & Inspection

HEIGHTS is an ISO 9001 registered company, and prior to the delivery of finished equipment and components comprehensive trials and tests will be actioned leading to the provision of full evidence of conformity with relevant documentation.

Build Documentation

HEIGHTS can supply full and detailed sets of build documentation (for both complete machine assemblies and/or sub assemblies) either by producing original documents or updating existing ones.

Test Documentation

HEIGHTS carries out full testing of all complete machine or sub-assemblies and provides full test documentation.

Spare Part Support

HEIGHTS actively supports its customers with the spare parts assure maximum operational reliability, and full technical support is also available.

Packing Documentation

In conjunction with its preferred packing supplier, HEIGHTS is able to specify the correct packaging to protect valuable goods against the potential risk of damage in transit. This applies to all distribution modes, both nationally and internationally and the company provides full packing documentation.

HEIGHTS has its own Sales and Logistics team, specially trained and widely experienced in all areas of international and domestic logistics.  The company has been selling and shipping equipment worldwide for decades and has comprehensive knowledge of international trade and logistics.
