As thermal imaging is such a visual technology, there is no better way to gauge its value than by seeing a live demonstration and getting hands-on experience. For many years FLIR Systems has offered potential camera users this opportunity at roadshow events around the UK and in October the company will embark on another UK tour.
In conjunction with distributor Alpine Components, FLIR has confirmed four events running from Tuesday 16th October to Friday 19th October 2012 inclusive. They are suitable for anyone interested in thermal imaging for building, HVAC and predictive maintenance and provide the opportunity for attendees to learn from experts in these fields.
The session will include a basic introduction to infrared theory and advice for anyone wishing to implement a thermal inspection programme. The majority of the time, however, will be devoted to practical exercises, enabling delegates to try out the technology for themselves.
Starting at 9am and closing at 3pm, each session will include lunch. The Thermal Imaging Tech Tour starts in Warrington on 16th October and then moves to Nottingham on 17th October, Cardiff on 18th October and Farnborough on 19th October.
