The FLIR Infrared Training Centre (ITC) training programme for 2012 has several new additions including two short courses: an introduction to general thermography and its use for inspecting buildings. Both provide a good foundation for more effective thermal imaging and further study.
Run by either ITC staff or ITC Regional Training Partners, these courses are largely available nationwide. The introduction to general thermography provides a thorough grounding in the principles of infrared and is the ideal precursor for the elementary application course on building science.
Although available singly, the courses are ideally taken sequentially in order that the would-be thermographer has an appropriate level of understanding to benefit for the application-specific instruction.
Bookings are now being taken for both courses through to July. The ITC introduction to thermography short course is being held at Weybridge on Wednesday 13 June, and the building science short course is on Thursday 7 June in Manchester and Tuesday 17 July in Cardiff.
Registration for courses on the FLIR Infrared Training Centre (ITC) training programme for 2012 is via www.irtraining.eu, or delegates are asked to contact Charlie Reed or Jon Willis on 01732 220011.
