Thorite accredited to Norgren Premier Partnership Programme

Norgren has announced long standing distributor, Thorite, has become the first company to be accredited on its new Premier Partnership Programme.

As a leading supplier of air compressors, air tools, pneumatic and fluid power process products, Thorite now has fully accredited status on the programme enabling them to provide a comprehensive system design and sales service for Norgren’s industry leading valve island portfolio.

Thorite’s customers can now access speedy order fulfilment and installation for Norgren’s valve island solutions, allowing them to optimise operational efficiencies and drastically cut component and system delivery times.

To obtain its Premier Partnership Programme membership, Thorite completed a rigorous and detailed assessment and training process. This means its customers are guaranteed to receive the same standard of service as supplied by Norgren directly.

Having worked together for over 60 years, the new agreement is the next collaborative stage between the two companies and promises continuity of supply and service excellence for Thorite’s large customer base across the UK.

The partnership also allows Thorite to become the first external business to integrate Norgren’s innovative Valve Island configurator into their own webstore, allowing customers to accurately plan out and select the system solutions they require.

Mark Yates, sales director for Thorite, comments: “It’s a great accolade to be the first company to receive accreditation on Norgren’s Premier Partnership Programme. As a business, we are constantly looking for ways to evolve our market offering, and system development and assembly is part of this strategy. As a result of this agreement, we will be holding stock locally so we can enhance our service with the ability to build system assemblies that use Norgren’s valve islands in-house and then deliver them fully assembled to our customer sites within 72 hours. This is a time saving added value service our customers will appreciate and is set to optimise the efficiencies of developing and installing OEM systems.”

Martin Geobey, European distribution channel director for Norgren, says: “Thorite is a long standing and valued distributor at Norgren. Following a detailed process featuring significant assessment and training, we are pleased to welcome them as the inaugural member of our Premier Partnership Programme.

“Thorite becomes an extension of the Norgren team, with the ability and resources to service customer valve island system requests to the same exacting standards Norgren is known for. Its customers will be able to enjoy even quicker turnaround times for valve island system orders, providing peace of mind that they can keep project timescales on track.”
