Three-minute movie addresses workplace safety
According to Omron STI, audits show that nine out of ten safeguards installed by in-house engineers are either incorrect for the application or installed incorrectly - yet the companies have no idea that their machinery is not properly safeguarded.
Omron STI also says that independent studies show that safety devices save anywhere from three to six times their cost in reduced expenses - but only if it is the right safeguard, and it is installed correctly.
