Trio Power: power supplies are protected to IP67
The new Trio power power supplies from Phoenix Contact are equipped with IP67 protection and feature an impressive weatherproof design for use in harsh industrial environments as well as under extreme ambient conditions. The robust power supplies with standard functionality are therefore particularly suitable for distributed field installation. Fast installation directly at the consumer saves on cabling, reduces line losses, and saves space in the control cabinet.
Resistant to extreme conditions such as temperature, dust, and water, the die-cast aluminium housing ensures high system availability. The shock and vibration resistance as well as the electric strength of the power supplies means that they are mechanically and electrically robust. The wide temperature range from -25degC to +85degC provides a high level of flexibility in terms of use. To start difficult loads reliably, there is a dynamic boost which supplies 150 per cent of the nominal current for up to five seconds. In addition, the efficiency rating of over 93 per cent ensures high energy efficiency.
