Tsubaki LN series Jaw-Flex couplings suit servo applications
Tsubakimoto Chain is introducing its LN series of Jaw-Flex couplings to the European market. These high-precision couplings are designed for use with servomotor drives for applications such as machine tool feed shafts. Featuring excellent vibration damping characteristics, and a simple design for easy installation, the couplings are suitable for OEM and maintenance requirements.

The Jaw-Flex couplings consist of two hubs with a simple clamping design to locate onto the drive shaft, and a spider which is available in two different material types, depending on the application. End-users can specify between material type 98A, which features excellent vibration damping, or 64D, which offers excellent rigidity and high wear resistance.
Currently there are six couplings available in the LN series with the ability to transmit torque in the range 60-405Nm and accommodate shaft diameters from 12-42mm. In applications where precision and reliability are key, such as robotics and machine tools, the LN series Jaw-Flex couplings offer the key characteristics required within these and similar applications.
