Birmingham-based Tufnol Composites is announcing the appointment of Tim Rowson as its new production manager.
Prior to joining Tufnol, Tim worked for Meggitt Aerospace where he was a team leader, and also spent time with GE Unison Engine Components and IMI Nuclear. He began his career in manufacturing by undertaking an apprenticeship with Lintool in Birmingham and continued with his studies and went on to achieve ONC and HNC in mechanical engineering. In his new role at Tufnol he will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production processes for the company.
Commenting on his appointment, Tim says: "I am excited to be joining the team at Tufnol and to working in the UK composites market. While I have extensive experience in general manufacturing, this role offers a range of new challenges for me as well as the opportunity to develop my knowledge of this particular specialist sector of industry."

A keen golfer in his spare time, Tim was born in Rugby and moved to Birmingham with his family shortly afterwards where he has lived ever since.
