UHD LCD monitors added to 4Diamond Grid pro-display range

Mitsubishi Electric's new range of professional ultra high definition (UHD) LCD monitors is now shipping. The new additions to Mitsubishi's 4Diamond Grid range, which were launched at ISE 2019, are available in 75", 86" and 98" models, all delivering a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. All products in the 4Diamond Grid range are designed as cost-effective options for 24/7 applications such as crisis suites and breakout rooms, and complement Mitsubishi Electric's well-established portfolio of high-end, mission-critical control room displays.

All three new models feature 50,000 hour operational lifetimes, come fully equipped with OPS slots, DisplayPort 1.2a, HDMI, 3× USB, component and composite video inputs, and are remotely controllable via LAN or RS232. Up to seven displays can be daisy-chained together, with built-in scaling enabling simple video wall applications to be easily created without the need for an external controller. Intelligent pixel shift technology (IPS) helps prevent image sticking issues in 24/7 applications.

One of the three USB ports allows the automatic replay of media content stored on a memory stick, and there is also a built-in internet browser which can be programmed to default to a designated local or external URL on power-up, making it a versatile standalone display system. The USB player port is secured under a lockable cover to prevent unauthorised access. The displays also come equipped with programmable scheduling, automatic content switching on signal failure, panel locking and screen saver.

All panels have built-in 10W stereo speakers and can be used in either portrait or landscape orientation. The 75" and 86" models deliver a brightness of 400cd/m ² and 500cd/m ² respectively at a contrast ratio of 1200:1, while the 98" model delivers 500cd/m ² at 4000:1 contrast ratio. A range of accessories are also available, including optional touch screen overlays, wall mounting brackets and powered monitor stands for the 75" and 86" models.

All 4Diamond Grid display products come with a 3-year warranty and are available immediately throughout EMEA. More information on the 4Diamond Grid range, plus Mitsubishi Electric's full range of DLP, LCD and direct view LED professional control room display systems can be found at www.mitsubishielectric-displaysolutions.com.
