UK debut for TRUMPF's press brake at Northern Manufacturing
In its short life, the new TruBend Series 5000 has become the most successful press brake for TRUMPF worldwide. And although it has never been shown publicly before in the UK, this bending machine has already attracted a lot attention and secured a number of orders for the Luton-based company.
At Northern Manufacturing, visitors will be able to see precisely why this new addition is proving such a winner as this bending machine will be the main feature on the TRUMPF stand. Everything about this model is designed for high productivity, from programming and tool set-up through to the bending process itself.
Not only it is fast, it is also very flexible in its application and capable of bending a wide variety of parts with precision. Two innovative angle measurement systems enhance accuracy and repeatability. The machine also introduces a new control concept that is innovative in its simplicity and intuitive to use. It's eco-friendly too, as it only consumes energy during the bending process.
TRUMPF specialises in many metalworking technologies and another that will feature on the company's stand is laser welding. The five-axis TruLaser Station 5005 represents the range and is a space-saving, easy-to-operate machine for welding a wide variety of materials.
These credentials, coupled with its affordable price, make it a good choice for those who wish to introduce cost-efficient laser welding into their production. Designed for low- to medium-volume work, the TruLaser Station 5005 has three linear axes, a rotary axis and swivel axis for focusing the optics, permitting welding angles up to 120 degrees. All axes can be interpolated simultaneously, so that even parts with complex geometries can be joined easily.
Laser marking is another technology in which TRUMPF excels and to demonstrate its capability in this field the company will be presenting its TruMark Station 3000 with a TruMark 5010 beam source. This compact, simple, safe and industrially robust workstation combines excellent average power with high beam quality to deliver cost-effective results, even with demanding marking tasks.
