UKIVA members out in force at TOTAL 2013
The increasing importance of industrial vision in processing and packaging applications is reflected in the considerable commitment of the UKIVA (UK Industrial Vision Association) membership to exhibit at the 2013 TOTAL Processing and Packaging Show. Nearly 40 per cent of the UKIVA membership has booked stands at the show.
UKIVA Chairman, Mark Williamson, says: "Visitors to the TOTAL exhibition match well with the UKIVA's membership profile. There will be people looking for vision technology components to use in their own products or plants; people looking for system integrators or consultants to help them solve their vision applications and installations, and people who will be looking for complete processing or packaging systems that may very well have a vision system built into it."
Vision technology and equipment on show will cover a multitude of applications, ranging from the measurement of product and components during the manufacturing process, to the inspection of the integrity of packaging to the reading and verification of print, barcodes and labels. UKIVA members Alrad Imaging, Clearview Imaging, Cognex, Leuze Electronic, Olmec, Omron, Sick, STEMMER IMAGING and UPM Conveyors will all be exhibiting.
