Variohm to distribute BetaTherm temperature sensors
Variohm-EuroSensor Ltd has been appointed by BetaTherm Sensors, a Measurement Specialties Company, as a UK stocking distributor for its temperature sensing products.
BetaTherm designs, manufactures and supplies NTC thermistor-based temperature sensors and probe assemblies for use extensively in high-reliability, aerospace, military, high-end automotive, industrial, biomedical, HVAC and refrigeration applications worldwide.
In April 2006, BetaTherm and YSI Temperature were acquired by Measurement Specialties, a leading global designer and manufacturer of sensors and sensor-based products. By combining the strengths and expertise of BetaTherm and YSI Temperature, Measurement Specialties now possesses vast experience and in-depth knowledge that allows the company to meet the demands of temperature-sensitive applications.
Variohm is no stranger to the thermistor business, having acted as a distributor in the UK for YSI Temperature products for the last six years. BetaTherm is welcoming the opportunity to work with Variohm and to allow Variohm to expand its temperature sensing product portfolio range to include the BetaTherm range.
