Customers can choose from four series of drive units for use with vibratory bowl feeders:
The smallest bowl drive unit in DB-Automation's current range is for use with 228mm diameter fabricated stainless steel or cast bowls, tooled internally using stainless steel and coated to suit the customer's application requirements. Typically such bowls would be used for feeding small components or fixings that need to be orientated.
This size of drive unit is used with a cast or fabricated (cylindrical) bowl top for feeding smaller components. The standard cast top has a major diameter of 330mm.
450 Drives are one of the most popular sizes of vibratory drive units supplied by DB-Automation for bowl feeders. Customers can choose from two sizes of cast tops and two cylindrical tops. All cylindrical tops are bespoke and manufactured to suit the component being fed.
This size of bowl feed drive unit is suitable for feeding and orientating larger components. With standard flight widths of 50mm in the 650mm diameter cast aluminium bowl feeder tops and flights to suit customers' applications in the 600mm diameter cylindrical units, the range of bowls that can be used on the 600 Drive series is comprehensive.
Although the 600 Drive series is the largest of DB-Automation's standard drive units, the company can also supply larger drive units for bespoke applications.
