National Instruments is on a mission to find the most innovative student project of the year. Having visited hundreds of students from all over Northern Europe, NI have shortlisted the top six projects. These finalist projects range from incredible medical advancements to planet-saving machines, each of which is powered by NI technology.

This Year's Northern European Student Design Contest is bigger and better than ever, with not only some of the most ingenious ideas seen to date but also the new opportunity for the wider engineering community and the public to vote for their favourite project. Voting runs from the 20th Sept to the 21st Oct so there is a month to have your say at uk.ni.com/studentdesign-2016. The winner of the public vote will be presented the "People's choice Award' at the Engineering Impact Awards held at the RSA in London, 28th November, as well as an award for the Judges choice too.
