WAGO uses Spelsberg enclosures for new pre-mounted products

As one of the most trusted names for interconnection technology it's little wonder that many of WAGO's products are available from Screwfix and other distributors. Its terminals and conductors can now be bought pre-mounted in a Spelsberg A-Box enclosure. The Spelsberg range was chosen for its quality and the flexibility of the available dimensions.

If you are a professional electrician, either domestic or industrial, WAGO's range of spring pressure-based clamping connectors are likely to feature high up your wish list for any job. Installation is made much easier thanks to the tool-less operation of the components with reliable connections being made every time. However, WAGO doesn't just supply stand-alone connectors and terminals; pre-mounted options are also available, further simplifying the installation process.

Paul Witherington, UK and Ireland Marketing Manager for WAGO, explains: "The entire philosophy of the WAGO product range is simplification for end-users. If we can make an electrician's life a little bit easier on a job then they'll keep using our product. By supplying our products pre-mounted we further simplify their job as they just need to fix the enclosure to the wall or DIN rail and then push the conductor into place - job done.

"Of course, we had to specify enclosures that offered the same performance levels as our components to make sure the connections would remain protected. We've worked with Spelsberg UK on many other projects in the past so we knew that it could offer the right quality. Additionally, the flexibility in the range meant we could find enclosures which provided the perfect dimensions."

Spelsberg's A-Box enclosure range has been specified to offer high-quality, IP65 protection to WAGO's TOPJOB S Terminals or 222 Series Connectors. A specialised carrier mounting has been developed to accommodate the WAGO components, maximising the space available inside the enclosure. Cable glands are also supplied, meaning end-users simply need to knock out the entry points as required and mount the enclosure.

The pre-mounted WAGO junction boxes are available from Screwfix and most other leading distributors. To find other products which combine the benefits of the WAGO and Spelsberg brand, please visit the WAGO website. Go to www.spelsberg.co.uk for more information about the Spelsberg A-Box enclosure.
