Waterproof AC fans for harsh conditions
There are comparatively few waterproof AC fans available but now, new from Aerco, the ADDA AA1282 range of waterproof AC fans allows designers to use readily available AC power for a fan that provides IP55 protection levels and has passed stringent salt water spray tests.
Using high-performance packaging, infusion technology and parylene coating, these new fans are suitable for use in machinery, freezers, refrigerated rooms, remote telecommunication equipment, food processing plants and all applications that use spray-down cleansing techniques.
Built in a frame size of 120 × 120 × 38mm, these new fans are highly thermal stable so can be used in a very wide temperature range from -10degC to +70degC. The airflow capacity is 43 litres/sec (91.2 CFM) and a precision ball bearing system ensures a product life of over 50,000 hours.
