WDS extends Stock Guarantee across further products

Standard parts and components stockist and manufacturer, WDS Components, has extended its Stock Guarantee programme to cover a wider range of products.

The British supplier provides a 10% price discount for any unavailable quantity of a product within the guarantee. The Stock Guarantee now covers detent pins, castors, and levelling feet in addition to existing products including machine parts such as levers, hardware including locks and latches, as well as industrial automation components such as ball transfer units.

The programme means that if 1,000 items are required and 950 are available, 10% credit will be applied to the required 50 items. Products secured by the Stock Guarantee programme are signified on the company’s website by a logo and within each product’s specification table.

WDS’ Stock Guarantee assures customers of product availability with same-day despatch and applies to thousands of products across the component supplier’s 40,000-plus range. Stock Guarantee also applies to international customers and WDS ships standard parts and components globally.

WDS will also consider adding new products to the guarantee on request for those not currently listed and customers are invited to contact the company. Products are added to the guarantee on a monthly basis.

“In-stock product availability is a key requirement from many of our customers, especially those requiring high volumes, and over the past two years this need has grown,” says WDS’ sales and marketing director, Mark Moody. “Most of our standard parts and components are now supported through WDS’ Stock Guarantee programme, which has increased the trust our customers have in our ability to ship what they need, when they need it.”
