WEG to exhibit at Indumation 2024
WEG is set to exhibit at Indumation 2024, taking place from 31 January to 2 February at Xpo in Kortrijk, Belgium. WEG will introduce the capabilities of its new WG20 geared motor assembly centre in Belgium, and will also feature its popular motor, gearbox and variable speed drive (VSD) products.
Indumation 2024 is Belgium's primary trade show for factory, process and infrastructure. This comprehensive event will act as a platform for the latest advancements and innovations in the field, while bringing together industry leaders, professionals, and enthusiasts.
The exhibition floor will host a diverse range of exhibitors, including manufacturers, technology providers, and solution experts. At the event, visitors will have the chance to discuss the new WG20 assembly centre located in its warehouse facility in Nivelles, Belgium.
The new facility will bolster the existing local WEG network within the compact Benelux region, says Werner Lievens, managing director of WEG Belgium. With an advantageous location, we can more efficiently process and ship industrial equipment solutions to our customers, ultimately reducing time to market.
At the stand, WEG will also exhibit its WG50 Gearbox and its MFM system for digitalised asset monitoring. The WG50 industrial gearbox is designed to optimise power transmission in a wide range of industrial applications, setting a new standard in performance and reliability. The WG50 is engineered to endure external factors, including a high frequency of starts per hour, shocks, and vibrations, among other conditions.
Visitors will also get the chance to discuss the new W23 Sync+ motor line which was first shown at SPS in Germany during November. This line of permanent magnet synchronous reluctance motors (PMSynRM) is well-suited for a wide range of applications, including compressors, pumps, fans, blowers, conveyors, and more.
Finally, WEG will display its variable speed drives (VSD). The CFW900 offers enhanced energy efficiency and connectivity and the ADV200 is designed to fulfil the requirements of industrial systems integrators and OEMs, delivering superior performance in the most challenging applications.
At Indumation 2024, attendees will also have the opportunity to see a full power train solution, comprising of a W22 motor, WG20 gearbox, CFW900 VSD and the MFM platform, continued Lievens. This integrated WEGmotion Drives package simplifies maintenance, enhances performance and results in a dependable power solution.
