I like this book. A modern operating system is bound to be immensely complex and whatever you may think of Microsoft, I think its developers have done a very good job. Compared to Vista it goes like a rocket, but there are unbelievable, inexplicable changes. Windows 7 Annoyances goes straight to the heart of the most annoying problems you find on a day-to-day basis, and sorts many of them out.
Windows 7, in one form or another, is going to be around throughout industry for ten years or more, so finding a practical, no-messing insight into ways of solving the most common problems is essential. Windows 7 may be faster and more stable than Vista, but it's a long way off being problem-free.
David A. Karp comes to PC users' rescue with the latest in his popular Windows Annoyances series, a thorough guide gives you the tools you need to fix the troublesome parts of this operating system, plus the solutions, hacks, and timesaving tips to make the most of your PC.
