Wyko opens new branch in Litvinov, Czech Republic
Wyko, an Eriks Company, has opened another Central European branch in Litvinov in the Czech Republic. This follows the success of Wyko s.r.o. in Bratislava. Wyko s.r.o. is said to offer an unparalleled local stock of industrial consumable products from leading manufacturers, as well as the ability to draw immediately upon the Group's vast stocks located throughout Europe. This, coupled with the extensive all-round know-how of its engineers, has already led to Wyko s.r.o. generating keen interest within major companies in the region in key industrial sectors, including energy, mining and the oil and petrochemical industry.
Eriks, a Dutch Industrial Services Group, acquired Wyko in November 2006 and the new branch in the Czech Republic offers the first opportunity for customers to experience the combined strength of Wyko's Engineering Solutions and Eriks know-how in the supply of engineering products and services to improve productivity, thereby generating costs savings in their MRO expenditure.
Wyko s.r.o. is managed by Zdenk Bubeniek and Jana Bubenikova. Before joining the Wyko team, Zdenk and Jana held the Fenner Power Transmission agency for the Czech Republic for more than 10 years and Zdenk, in particular, already has extensive knowledge within the engineering sector as a result of fifteen years' experience gained as a sales engineer with a leading global pump manufacturer.
