The Railfix DIN rail adapter from Phoenix Contact optimises control cabinet building because it simplifies the mounting of fully equipped DIN rails. It is no longer necessary to remove individual components on the terminal strip in order to mount the DIN rail.

Sole UK and Ireland supplier of FAULHABER drive systems, Electro Mechanical Systems (EMS), has expanded its product range with the new IEP3 incremental encoder series.

Through continuous innovation and research over the past 51 years, with over 100 years of experience within the machine guarding safety industry, Mechan Controls is now launching a number of new safety products, including new Grabwire safety switches, a simple and effective trapped key system and a tag-in, tag-out system.

To enable its ReBeL cobot to be able to take on more human-style tasks, igus has developed a finger gripper. It is made entirely of lubrication-free plastics, making it cost-effective and easy to integrate.

Up until now, industrial Ethernet has only been able to reach the control level before it needs to switch to BUS systems via gateways. SPE, delivered via HARTING’s T1 Industrial connector, allows equipment to connect via end-to-end IP-based communications right up into the field level.

The Model A36R absolute encoder from British Encoder Products is designed for high performance in a compact mechanical package.

IDS Imaging Development Systems has developed the compact autofocus camera uEye XC. In addition to USB3 Vision, it is now also available with UVC protocol – as a reliable webcam for industrial applications.

HEIDENHAIN is has developed MULTI-DOF encoders allowing measurement in more than one degree of freedom, enabling higher accuracy and greater dynamic performance – key requirements for improving production processes.

Plug and play connectorisation makes flexible manufacturing possible as machines can be disconnected and reconnected quickly, without the need for skilled labour and with no risk of miswiring. The experts at HARTING explain.

Ethernet is being deployed across more and more areas of industry and is the connecting element for both IT and OT (Operational Technology). HARTING is constantly developing and refining its Industrial Ethernet connectivity range so customers can implement robust and reliable networks for industrial use.
