Compact connector for all-weather advertising signs

External display advertising is an effective means of communicating a message to a wide and diverse audience. Positioned by bus stops, elevators and even national monuments, it is common to see an advert for the nearest fast food outlet or the latest cinema release illuminated by an advertising light box in every town of the UK. Due to the heavy footfall in some areas these advertising boards can command a high premium in terms of rates, but that's dependant on their reliability. Hylec-APL supplies a range of compact waterproof connectors which keep the boards shining in any weather.

Flexibility and reliability for airflow control unit enclosures

When designing and manufacturing airflow controls and temperature-monitoring equipment for laboratories, there is very little margin for error. A flux in temperature can cause thousands of pounds worth of damage to materials and a faulty fume cupboard can pose very serious health risks. To ensure its products do not fail, Temperature Electronics Ltd. has found that when specifying enclosures it is best to stick with a single company which offers a flexible and reliable range.

Precision ring track simplifies new turret mechanism

For the label converting and finishing machinery manufacturer, A B Graphic International, the availability of an off-the-shelf ring track system allowed its designers to create a far more cost-efficient mechanism for its new turret rewinder module. In place of a complex centre shaft arrangement to carry the turret disc, a HepcoMotion PRT2 precision ring track system was specified instead. And not only did it simplify the mechanism, it also introduced other design advantages.
