EMS to exhibit Faulhaber range at Medical Technology Ireland

Small DC motor supplier for the medical technology sector, EMS, will be exhibiting the Faulhaber motor range at Medical Technology Ireland, taking place at Galway Racecourse from 21-22 September 2022.

Showcasing the BXT-SC series, AM3248 stepper motor and new L-series of linear actuators, EMS will be on hand to highlight the superior accuracy and precision of micromotors for the med tech industry.

A two-day conference welcoming over 200 exhibitors and more than 1,200 attendees, Medical Technology Ireland is a meeting point for medical technology representatives from all areas of the supply chain. While the event hosts attendees and exhibitors from across the globe, Medical Technology Ireland also acts as an important opportunity to showcase Ireland as a burgeoning hub for advancements in med tech.

As the sole UK and Ireland supplier of Faulhaber products, EMS will be offering its expertise on a variety of drive solutions. Firstly, the BXT-SC series of brushless DC servomotors are just 14mm, 16mm and 21mm long. Thanks to innovative winding technology and optimum design, the motors deliver a torque of up to 134 mNm, providing an unmatched torque to weight and size ratio. When combined with optical and magnetic encoders, gearheads and controls, the result is a compact drive system ideal for applications with tight space requirements.

For positioning tasks that require the highest levels of accuracy, the AM3248 stepper motor is the perfect solution. The AM3248’s motor contains rare-earth permanent magnets, enabling a high power to volume ratio. It is compatible with planetary gearheads and electronic motion controllers to deliver high power density and very high acceleration. The AM3240 stepper motor is a long-lasting solution, ideal for medical technology that needs to function all day, every day.

EMS will also be exhibiting Faulhaber’s new L-series of linear actuators. The 22L and 32L are designed for high performance in compact dimensions, and can support both large input speed and high output force. The L series offers a robust design and can be combined with a wide portfolio of motors such as Faulhaber DC motors, 4-pole and 2-pole brushless motors or stepper motors.
