The properties of SilGel 612 make it a suitable sealant for electronic product manufacturers, especially in applications such as potting and encapsulation of electronic control units, sensors and printed circuit boards. Latest laser area scanners for static and AGV applications

Wireless spindle positioning system reduces machine set-up times

The Elesa wireless spindle positioning system enables faster and more reliable machine set up by use of a wireless connected profile controller, which displays the initial set up values on each of up to 36 electronic position indicators. The operator can simply choose the appropriate menu then quickly re-set each spindle to its correct start position and the machine is "good to go". The company states that they have been developed specifically for applications requiring a combination of high bond strength together with reduced production time cycles. The double-sided PE foam bonding tape is said to offer exceptional resistance to weathering, extreme temperature variations and high moisture content without loss of adhesion, and Lohmann has test results available that illustrate the precise parameters achievable with the new range.
